What is TFS?

Toyota Financial Services (TFS), wholly owned by Toyota Motor Corporation, was established in July 2000 as a holding company of Toyota’s financial subsidiaries providing automobile sales finance services. The aim of the integration of management was to expedite decision-making and enhance the planning function and risk management, as well as to improve the professional skills of management, thereby reinforcing competitiveness and profitability of Toyota’s financial business. As a financial holding company, TFS has formed the TFS Group together with sales finance companies both inside and outside Japan, to engage in business operations.

Under our corporate philosophy “Always think first of the interest and needs of customers,” we, the TFS Group, support our customers’ daily life through our finance business, aiming to make many people become “Toyota fans.”

Today, we have operations in over 40 countries and regions worldwide, including Japan, providing automobile sales finance services such as car loans and leasing.
